In the spirit of cats to the rescue when the day hasn’t lent itself to photographic artistry (or even a half decent snap of a sandwich, field or scudding cloud), here is Pickle.

She was not a willing subject though and some trickery with a cat treat was employed! Thanks for your appreciation of Stu yesterday.

It was R’s birthday and she made a beautiful Japanese dinner.
