Will they, won’t they?

I left this nearly ripe tomato on the vine in the hope that it might encourage the remaining green ones to ripen. There has been a very welcome glut of tomatoes in the polytunnel in the past week so I’ve made some tasty fresh passata to freeze and enjoy during the winter.
