A Diver named MacGyver
He is hard to make out, but right at the end of the stairs is a cormorant drying out. Why is he drying out you might ask.
Let me tell you. MacGyver had just performed 3 different dives. Not 1, not 2, but 3 different dives.
1. A cannonball to warm up, but with his little legs and tiny webbed feet, not very impressive.
2. A 103B, which translates into a front 1 1/2 in the pike position. Getting better.
3. The grand finale? A 5132D, which is a front 1 1/2 flip with one twist in the free position. One word. Wow. (It's no wonder that he needed to rest.)
Believe what you may, but thanks to the website Swimming World, with an article entitled Diving Lingo for Dummies.
Does that make me the dummy?
