I Am Here

The US Bank in St Johns has three big photo murals hanging in the lobby. They are blown up aerial photographs from the 40s, near as we can tell. The Willamette River still has big, floating log rafts, and there is still evidence of shipbuilding. You can see plenty of empty lots and unpaved streets. Since our house was built well before that time (it was built in 1895), it's in the picture, too; you can see it (red arrow), and you can also see the water tower at the end of the street (blue arrow). Just take this picture with you when you feel like looking me up, and you should easily find your way - just come out on Willamette Blvd., and turn at the first water tower. Tell that to your favorite map app.
