Tulips and Weeds

Two years ago a row of old houses were knocked down just around the corner from my home.

The site was leveled but no building has started.

Today when I was driving past, I noticed these beautiful tulips, almost hidden amongst the weeds, once part of someones treasured gardens, now a flash of brilliance in a deserted building site
