After last Friday’s cancelled trains and Saturday’s rail strike, I had an uneventful trip back down to London. I’ve decided that ‘uneventful’ is a great way to travel.

I was lucky to meet up briefly with my Canadian friends before they headed to the airport for early flights home tomorrow morning. I’ve known one of them for coming on to 30 years. I sometimes wonder how that is possible.
