Wind Damage

Haddenham is one of the highest points Ely at 39m above sea level and our house is near the ‘summit’ Consequently we do suffer from the effects of wind and it’s been quite windy over the last few days. As I was walking back from our local car repairers this morning I was surprised to find quite damage to the trees on the playing field. Young branches and leaves had been torn off. It was just in one area.

Phone cal this afternoon to pick my car up, a large screw was found in the tyre and could not be repaired :( I retraced my steps across the playing field. The wind, still blowing, had moved the branches and leave off to the side of the field.
