Tea party

A friend's birthday today and although terminally ill, she was determined to have a tea party to celebrate at home.  She was propped up in bed and about 8 of us sat around and enjoyed afternoon tea.  It was supplied by a local hotel and was quite delicious.  Unfortunately, the hotel forgot the Eton Mess, but this was quickly rectified and I returned there to collect it.

It was a good afternoon but not one of the best days for C.  She was feeling tired, in some pain and discomfort.  Nevertheless she said that she enjoyed her afternoon.
