Fill the Frame

Just a quickie iPhone shot today - a pot of fall mums, filling the frame. Took this while mom, dad and I were in the village green doing an Adventure Lab Geocache. Fun time and a great way to enjoy beautiful sunny weather. A shot of my parents in Extra calculating one part of the cache.

Picked my parents up at Newark late afternoon and spent the first 25 miles of the homeward trip in a downpour and heavy traffic. The second 25 miles was much better. Jax was predictable excited about having new humans in the house and was on his worst behavior. In his defense, he’d spent two days inside because of the rain so he had an abundance of puppy energy.

This morning we lingered over breakfast before Hubs and Dad went out to the garage to work on the Camaro; while mom and I sat in a patch of sun in the deck with Jax.

All in all, a pretty perfect day! Something dark on the menu…
