Wiggly worms

I don't often take photos at school, but this struck me as such a lovely shot. One of my most boisterous boys, who often has a very short attention span, spent the whole afternoon digging up worms. He had to be reminded not to stretch them until they pinged into two pieces and then reminded to keep putting them back in the soil so they can breathe through their skin. Basically his over-eager approach was his way of being affectionate and he desperately wanted to put it in his pocket to take home.
