Splat

 I had noticed the interesting clouds as we drove toward the beach and wondered if the sunset would be spectacular when we got there, but I had heard it was foggy, so I wasn't counting on it. When I saw peeks through the trees of the stunning sky colors in the distance, I was excited and took this "safety" shot through the windshield. Of course, there are bug splats on the window...darn...but I still think it was a beautiful sight. Hwy 101 along the coastline was so foggy we could hardly see the road,  and we definitely couldn't see the ocean or the sunset. 

We were planning to take some friends out fishing or crabbing tomorrow but the fog may keep us landbound. I am okay with that, but I know they will be disappointed.
