Girls’ Night Out

Today we are shopping for an evening gown. For her, not me. For a wedding next year; our niece’s.

It’s black tie and I’ll have to rent a tux. I am thinking of dressing it up with steampunk accessories, but this may not go down too well when it comes to the family photos.

She is looking for that near-mythical dress: the one that looks stylish, fits well, and is not too expensive.

There is time yet, of course, but I think we’re still at the start of this.
