Spring greens

How lovely to see and feel the sunshine today :D  I loved the light it brought to this fern in the garden.  Being able to hang washing out knowing it was going to dry felt a little alien too as we seem to have had so many grey days recently.

It seemed that whenever I went outside I could hear a mower going somewhere nearby.  I'll have to get my lawns done tomorrow I think - don't want to let the local team down.  And talking of teams and ferns, the Black Ferns begin the defense of their Rugby World Cup title tomorrow.  As the competition is being hosted here in New Zealand I will be fully committed to watching them in their endeavour......again, I don't want to let the side down!
