Our blip today is from Ridgeback13. This shot of Toronto represents Canada in our collection of images of places mentioned by Lorna Lloyd in her Diary of the war  (previously blipped in the LornaL journal). Thank you Ridgeback13!

Lorna mentions Canada once in her war diary. This is with reference to the sinking of the City of Benares (a child evacuee ship en route to Montreal) on 17th September 1940. Lorna reports this six days later.
