View from the train

Flooding on the train line at Dalwhinnie today meant a three hour delay at Perth. Thankfully a kind Scotrail worker let me leave my bag so I could explore Perth’s Fergusson Gallery, Montcreiff Island & Kinnoull Hill. So it worked out well for me, and the sun shone. Not so well for a wee group of passengers who were on the minutes for an onward connection from Inverness so jumped in a taxi from Perth - £220 ouch.
Good craic on the train, met a lovely American couple from Washington who got married last week in Campbeltown & were now doing a golfing tour of Scotland.
