Backblip

Up early again this morning.  Spent most of the morning getting organised for Ele, Gail and Natalie (fellow golf widows) coming for coffee and scones and dinner.

Ele arrived then Gail then Natalie and we had a lovely afternoon catching up.  

Talk turned to the summer holidays we used to have together in France (for about 15 years when all the kids were young we holidayed in France with Ele, Kenny, Andrew and Jennifer and for a good few of those holidays Alan and Gail joined us with their two children) and a plan was hatched to try to organise a bog family holiday in France in maybe 2024.

Ele and Gail texted their kids and they are all up for it, partners included and  of course Esme :-)  We just need Andrew and Nikki to settle on their wedding date in 2024 so we know when to avoid booking.  If we manage to pull it off it will be a scream!  We'll need a house that sleeps at least 15! 

A lovely afternoon rolled into a lovely evening.  The word from the golfers is that David is still in the lead.  The weather forecast in southern Spain tomorrow is not good.  Thunder, lightning and heavy rain, so they are doubtful they will be able to play.  Be a shame if they can't.

Natalie headed home just after 9pm as she has things to do tomorrow morning.  Ele and Gail stayed over and we enjoyed the Harris Gin :-)
