Lunch with a View

We drove down to Cape Lookout Park to meet our friends from Montana since it was too foggy to take the boat out today. They are camping and had a big fire in the fit pit at the campsite; it was delightful to visit with the warmth of the fire. Although it was very foggy, it wasn't too cold, and there were none of the usual winds. 

We decided to go to Oceanside for lunch; we found a cozy cafe on the beach. The food was delicious, and the view was spectacular. The fog rose a little, and we could see surfers riding the big waves; we don't have any surfing at Rockaway beach, so it was fun watching them. I took a photo of the flowers on the table for Anni since it is Flower Friday.

The extra photos are at the nearby beach, and I am sure many have thought the house (far right in the first extra photo) on top of the hill would be fantastic, but look at the closeup and decide if the house will sell quickly with that landslide in front of it. I don't think so!
