PINKTOBER - DAY 8 - SILLY SATURDAY

Hello Lovely Blippers,

Reeth here – as I think it’s probably the last time I will be allowed to speak on behalf of everyone in the Silly Saturday Gang.

I have really enjoyed being with the HCBs in North Yorkshire and going out with them for the BCAM blips all week. We were all very pleased that although it was windy in the night, there was no rain. When we got up this morning the sun was shining so I thought it might be a good idea for all the Silly Saturday Gang to get together for a final photograph.

You know that we have all been itching to get into the hot tub with the HCBs but Mrs HCB was adamant that we could not get in before we had a long journey back home, as it would take too long for us to dry out so we decided that the next best thing was to all pile onto the top of the hot tub, so here we all are.

Mr HCB is starting to pack the car - and says he can do it on his own – I think it’s a man thing – a bit like the way men like to take charge of a barbecue! They seem to think that no one else can pack a car like they can – in fact they are probably right!

Anyway, we know that all good things come to an end so we are not unhappy about going home and we just hope that the motorways are clear, because of course today there is another train strike.

You can see in the background behind the wonderful view that the HCBs and us have had all week and we are really pleased that we found Hillcrest Park, and of course the hot tub was a real bonus.

We think that dear Admirer would laugh if she saw us all piled on top of the hot tub instead of IN it, but we had to do as we were told on our last day – Mr HCB says that makes a change!
