‘Ello ello ello

Having a party conference in town has been like the antithesis of the Commonwealth Games and I couldn’t wait for it to end if I’m honest. Police cordons everywhere, constant noise of megaphones and angry protests, swarms of people in suits in and around the restaurants and me shuffling sheepishly past several armed police to get to my Kids Team meeting on Monday night!
