Surprise shutters!

Jaimi and Callum 'de-installed' our guest bathroom today. They made a wonderful discovery when they took out the panelling from around window (visible in my blip from Wednesday). These working shutters are painted pink and a bit battered, but it won't be a big job to restore them.

The other good news of the day is that Jaimi thinks that he will be able to route the water supply around the bathroom to allow for a tap to be installed on the outside wall. This will make watering the garden a much easier job at the height of summer.

Jon came over this evening for Friday night curry and games. Mr hazelh had a very good night: 2 wins at Catan, and a win at Azul (the second of the day after beating me at lunchtime).

Exercise today: walking (9,894 steps mainly accrued from walking to the shops, post office, and on a mission to check a local bed and breakfast for a blipfriend).
