St Andrews Castle

A trip to St Andrews this morning. Beautiful blue skies and plenty of sunshine.

Car parked down at the harbour we then walked up The Pends and along The Scores as we headed towards the Golf Museum for our coffee.

Plenty of university buildings in that area but the Castle ruins belong to Historic Scotland. We are members and have visited many times but today we just stood at the fence and took some photos.

Shopping done we headed to the Botanic Gardens where we sat in the sun and had our lunch. Not too many flowers but plenty of autumnal signs ....... conkers, sweet chestnuts and very colourful leaves.
