Today I really enjoyed a planned get together with ANewDay so that she could introduce us to some walks around her area. I still haven't been able to speak to my friend after her email bringing me the results of her scan - so a day spent roaming the hills was an excellent therapy. Thank you all so much for your good wishes.
Here we are looking north towards the foothills of the Grampian hills, with yellow gorse in the foreground and the broad strath (valley) of very fertile freshly ploughed rich, red-brown soil taking up the mid ground. It is a huge landscape and it flanked our walk for most of the way. Despite the sun coming out while i was driving north to meet ANewDAy, the wind was quite fierce and cold as we walked.
We are now back home and the dogs and I are cooried up in the warm after a very enjoyable day out.
