The Laird's Loch

I enjoyed another delightful blipmeet today with Notions (aka TheWren) when we met up for lunch and a walk with her two gorgeous dogs in Hallyburton Community Woodland near my home. My husband was able to join us for lunch and thoroughly enjoyed meeting her too.

We abandoned him after lunch and took the dogs for a good walk and a swim in The Laird's Loch. This is the boathouse there and the picnic table is a nice place to have a snack when the weather is a lot warmer than it was today!

Back to my house after the walk and my blipfriend was able to admire the battlefield that is my front garden at the moment:-) A really enjoyable day out for all of us.

Our meal with friends this evening has been postponed until tomorrrow, as their daughter inconsiderately decided to produce her first baby today, necessitating a dash to Edinburgh to greet the new arrival:-) Looking forward to seeing some baby pics tomorrow!!
