Marvellous meals with quince….

That’s a reference that only those who enjoyed Joceline Dimbleby cook books (one was called Marvellous Meals with Mince) will get. 

Glorious sunny day. Walked the dog and then picked and cooked. All the green tomatoes and ALL FIVE of the quince to add to the quince i brought from Jo’s. I made green tomato chutney, quince vodka (thanks for the suggestion @xtoph1) and a quince tarte tatin from a slightly baffling on line recipe.  

David and Nancy came to dinner, we lit the fire and had a lovely evening.
