The Lonely Mother

A blue-sky day today! My sister and I went to a garden centre in Tolworth to meet my niece and her husband and family for a cuppa - I'd not seen her little daughter before. Great to see them all.

We went on the NT Claremont Landscape Garden and after a walk around sat in the sun for a while. There were a lot of folk about, but the amphithetheatre was roped off so I photographed this mother and child walking by.  We did wonder about lunch here, but it was very busy so we drove to Garson's farm shop/garden centre/restaurant/pick your own at Esher hoping to have lunch there, but the queue was enormous so we nosed around the garden centre then carried on home to enjoy lunch in the hot sun in my sister's garden!
