Within spitting distance

Leaving the port of Santander, this spit of land is a lovely sight, with people enjoying the sand, swimming and waving at the ferry. It’s beautifully calm at sea, and still warm in the Bay of Biscay, with just a gentle breeze. I’m glad not to be feeling seasick. 

In the extra is a lone homeward bound seagull who accompanied us some of the way out of the port.
