Ltdux

These are long-tailed ducks (clangula hyemalis) on The Peedie Sea, the salt-water lagoon in Kirkwall. They are gathering in preparation for heading off north to their breeding grounds in the Arctic and Baltic.
I took this with my wee camera- the Fujifilm HS30 which I bought around Christmas. On Monday I found that it wouldn't switch on and had to despatch it south to be repaired. I was quite impressed that Fuji got it fixed and back to me by Friday.
There are a couple of tufted ducks and a mute swan in there too.
