Fall Days
Early afternoon we drove the fifteen minutes to English Bicknor (Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire, England UK) to do a walk that we did a few years ago long before we moved here.
The walk starts with the footpath going through the primary school yard with a mile of stunning views both ways as you descend the ridge towars the River Wye. On reaching Lydbrook we stopped a while to chat to the owner and his wife who had just got their 1945 Rover 12 car out of the barn to drive into Monmouth for a coffee. I took a film photo' which I'll post up this week.
Not long after we we entered Lydbrook FC where the sun was shining through the woods and I took the slow shutter one of the trees and light which I like best from the walk. It shows the autumn or Fall colours. A pleasant dry cool day with the weather forecast a big change midweek.
