Not just any cardboard boxes

These are Shore Porters cardboard boxes. 33 of them at the recycling centre. Having been filled with books that the removers had unpacked, repacked, mis-packed, jumbled up, in some cases broken, in some cases water damaged.

That aside, spilt milk and all, we have been sifting, sorting, deciding what to keep, what to donate, what to sell, what channel to sell through, where the specialist book dealers are ...

And 33 cases, plus the ten or so we've emptied since, is an awful lot of hours.
