Walk through the highest mountain village of NL !!

This afternoon we went for a walk through Vijlen. It was beautiful sunny weather with little wind, so we enjoyed a quiet day in Autumn.
Vijlen is the highest mountain village in the Netherlands.
It is located at an altitude of 192 m. The first cement factory anno "1875" was also located there. There are still remains of the lime kilns in a meadow where the walking route passed.
It was a beautiful route with many views and sometimes a steep climb.
Afterwards we ate delicious chocolate cake with ice cream and whipped cream. In addition, drank a latte and to quench the thirst a nice cherry beer and a Radler.
