Just an illusion

I worked at home today, back to back conference calls as usual. I thought I'd enjoy figuring out of the cooker works but no chance... The decorator has taped everything down under dust sheets then cleared off leaving all his gear. The floor polisher has bungled the job and now has to come back again so I'll have to lift all the dust sheets and find somewhere else to put the decorators kit. Plus, all the bits and pieces I managed to get washed and put away have to come out again for cupboard readjustment. Grrrr!

I wish I was like Alice and I could fall through my looking glass to find a house with no builders...
