Snake's Head Fritillary

Had an amazing day at Sizergh Castle doing lots of activities that the National Trust reckon all children should do before they are 11 and 3/4. I did a full write up on the blog with a lot of photos so please go there if you want to see/read what we got up to! Oh and all photos are on Facebook.

This wonderful flower was in the orchard part of the garden and it was just so different I wanted to share it on here. Good job they had a board next to the flowers to say what they are as I would have had no idea ;-)
