Preserved

14yo and I headed out to Skipton for the day. 

Along with out usual walk through the castle woods, tour of the shops and café stops we happened to bump into the 16th Yorkshire Dales Preserved Bus Running Day. Plenty of rides out to neighbouring towns and villages were being offered, but we just toured the car park. It seems I am now of sufficient vintage myself to find preserved buses from my younger days :) 

I have decided that the collective noun for preserved buses is a jam.
