A happy dog!

We’re in Cowra tonight with our friend Carol doing some preliminary organisation for a conference next year. The Lachlan River has broken its banks and here’s Carol’s dog Mack having some fun about 150 metres from the river at what is usually about deep fine leg on the local cricket field.
He shouldn’t actually be leaping around as he’s ruptured a cruciate ligament in his knee and is having surgery next week (Tibial Plateau Levelling Osteotomy for those interested).
The extra is a sign I noticed while having lunch in Orange on the way to Cowra. It’s tempting but I’ve decided that retirement is serving me well.
