Blustery
On an albeit bright morning, the wind from the NW was blustery and difficult to judge shutter speed. I toyed around for a while with colour combinations but the Michaelmas daisy was the only flower in my window, i could use as a suitable background. Bistort is good at this time of year, providing much needed pollen to a reducing number of flying insects. While its foliage yellows, the contrast is striking.
