Elegant Visitors

It was very fresh at Blakeney Quay this morning, quite a chilly wind but beautiful blue sky and sunshine after waking up to rain first thing.  A and I walked the circular route from Blakeney to Cley via the grounds of the Wiveton Hall Cafe, and very pleasant it was too.

There had been a high tidy at Blakeney which had flooded the road. It had receded when we arrived at 9:45am but it was running quickly as it was going out.  These five beautiful swans were swimming up the channel towards the quay as we were beginning our walk.  What a treat!
