Peak colors

Actually I think we are just past peak especially with the wind we had yesterday blowing leaves off the trees but this tree is certainly at its peak. I was really hoping for some sun to shine and light the tree up but it's been a mostly cloudy day. I got out early for a walk trying to walk in the sunshine but the clouds starting earlier than I expected. It was still a nice walk though. It's supposed to be sunny tomorrow and I might drive over and see what the tree looks like in the sun. There may be a repeat photo tomorrow.
Today was the first day that we had a small fire burning most of the day. Along with the clouds came some drizzle so it was a good baking and reading day.
