Slow Endings

We've had lovely autumn weather for the past few days, and the front and back gardens are now in winding-down mode. This leaf on the back fence just seemed to be waiting for someone to enjoy its quiet beauty, which I did, and I expect that the rose in the extra photos will be the last one for this year.
