Early rise

One of my abiding memories of party conferences all over the country (though now the SNP is confined to only the very largest of venues given the number of delegates , exhibitors, press and others) is the early start mandated by requests for broadcasting interviews .

This morning I was at the hall by 7.30, but the compensation was the lovely crisp autumn morning, enjoyed almost in solitude amongst the huge buildings of the Aberdeen TECA.
