Harewood circular walk

A fine Autumn day for a walk at Harewood Estate starting from Wike lane/ Harrogate rd gate.

We walked the varied circuit of an up and down 4.6 miles in a sweaty (me) 1hr 40 mins. I did find the climbs tough but our endeavours were rewarded with a show of fallow deer who ran through the woods parallel to the path. My photos were mostly of ghostly shapes but I did get a clear shot of himself with antlers(extra).

Back home Ive really enjoyed picking up my tin whistle again after my three week break. I’ve blipped an extra of a jaunty tune that I have returned to and am able to play quite nicely! Right chuffed.
