DISCOMBOBULATED
Photo taken on 10th Novemver, back blipped on the 11th.
Apologies for the not blipping yesterday. It was a bit of a day.
I discovered that my lovely niece had had a very lucky escape on Sunday. She was driving down the M6 and just about to join the M61 when a blue transit van overtook her and cut in way to soon, clipping her side and she had to swerve to try and avoid crashing into him, this sent her car into a double spin and she ended up hitting a wall!!! Luckily she has escaped with bumps, bruises and severely shaken but otherwise OK. Luickily she did not have her two young children with her. However the car is a complete write off.
The Police and Highways Agency were involved and very helpful and apparenlty there were quite a lot of people who stopped before the authorities got there to see what they could do to help, for which she and we are extremely grateful - if you were one of these people THANK YOU SO MUCH from the bottom of our hearts.
This of course left me feeling somewhat discombobulated and weirdly nervouse now about our forthcoming journey to Anglesey!!!
Anyway the most important thing is she is OK - the car can be replaced she cannot.
Early evening we took G up to Oxenholme to catch his train back to Edinburgh. It was the usual 15 to 16 minutes late but otherwise OK and he got home OK.
He will be returning in December to stay with us over Christmas and the New Year.
That's all from me, do take care, stay safe and I will see you all tomorrow.
