Party day

We celebrated my daughters 6th birthday today with friends and family in the backyard. The kids painted and decorated flower pots, planted pansies, ate cake and chips, played hide and seek, dug in the dirt, opened gifts and enjoyed the sun. The adults chatted (and ate cake!!).
It was such a busy day preparing and hosting that I didn't take a single picture. Thankfully my mom and husband took lots!
The birthday girl had a very happy day.
