Watching
This is what our trip to the island is about, my husband watching migratory birds on their way to leaving the country for the winter. It has been very windy so there were thousands upon thousands of birds on the ground waiting for better weather. They are so smart who understand not to venture across the sea in strong headwinds.
Extra: I do not watch birds, but I have a lot of other things to watch. For example, I look at the country's tallest lighthouse. I look at the lighthouse through the window from a hide.
And I note that a couple of brave ones have climbed the lighthouse, but wisely they stay on the lee side.
I also see some nice fishing sheds. I have a weakness for sheds, so it felt good to see them.
Then it was time to go back to our temporary home, because I had a blip meeting with Shelling who lives on the island. He would come and have a fika in our cottage. And he did and we had a good time. Now I am eagerly waiting to see what he blips about today. Here it is.
