I’m normally far from enthusiastic when I emerge from work to find children attached to screens. But I do love how tiny Zeke looked behind this one.

A productive day, if slightly frustrating at moments. And then the usual trip with the nieces and Eve to the athletics track. Now that the nights are drawing in, I abandon them with Uncle Jon and tick a few items off my shopping list for the week.

Gratefuls:

1. Bake off;
2. Apple cake;
3. The children each chatting to my beloved colleague via the screen when they got in from school - always fun to get his perspective as they unpack their days. If he were a Mum, he’d be a tiger mum in some respects!
