Almond

Car was due in for a service first thing this morning and so I decided to make the most of the day. Got a bus through to Winchburgh and then walked along the Union Canal to the outskirts of Edinburgh as another contribution to my Canal Challenge 200 project.

From there it was a train journey back to Falkirk to pick up the car.

Somehow managed to leave my camera in the house, so I had to make do with my mobile phone in terms of recording the day. Today's Blip is taken from the Almond Aqueduct, where the Union Canal crosses the River Almond below.
