Book Club Now

Our first book club meeting in person as it was before covid.   Except now we are 9, not 10,( missing our most creative and enthusiastic book questioner who told us to “carry on”) ) 3 are having trouble reading anything at all and can’t remember it anyway,  1 won’t get any covid boosters,  1 goes away for the winter, .......but we are carrying on!    Hamnet by Maggie O’Farrell was very fun to discuss, after a fabulous lunch made by our host in this blip at her lovely house where she’s lived for 52 years.    Thank you Katie!  
Very weirdly ‘Ive just found out that Maggie is in Seattle TONIGHT to talk about The Marriage Portrait, her latest book I’ve just read and loved equally.   Another time, I”d get myself there, but just can’t manage it tonight   :-(
