Saguaros

Bidding farewell to these cacti for now. They are the largest cacti in the US. It can take 50 years for a Saguaro to grow an arm; for reasons unknown, some never grow any.
We started at the crack of dawn on our drive back home. Now holed up in Tonopah, an old mining town at 6000 ft elevation, about half way to home. This is one of the best stargazing places in the US, I hear.
