Mapua's stork

Anniversary day today so a lunch celebration at Mapua where we dined when visiting friends in 2009 before moving here in 2010.
The Blip is quite an iconic view including the Stork which is in memory of one that used to visit Mapua during the summer till one year it never appeared so the current one is in memory of it.
I was disappointed to see how grubby the stark is so have emailed the council as sure it cannot be too much of an issue to clean it up.

A pleasant evening with V1k1 and the Forrester while V and I reviewed the Mono Monday contribution where we shall disclose our choices on our Blips tomorrow.
Next Monday's Mono is "A tree but not a forrest".
