A door with a view

A walk on Brancaster beach in the morning followed by lunch at Creake Abbey. In the afternoon we visited for the first time the wonderful art Gallery at the Old School House in Wighton which is a treasure trove of amazing art works. Temptation was too great and I could not resist purchasing a painting by Sula Rubens. The ruins of the old priory at Binham is also worth visiting. The scale is very impressive and the remaining church shows how magnificent the original buildings would have been. There are very few modern buildings that are as awesome as these on religious sites and edifices.
