Hoglands

Headed to Hoglands, Much Hadham in Herts just after breakfast.  Walking in the sculpture park was wonderful. The open space was a real tonic.  We'd visited several years ago in the rain which shone off the sculptures. Today it was mainly cloudy with brief sunny interludes.

We visited the house too.  But I felt queasy and claustrophobic as the seven other people crammed into wired off spaces no bigger than  1.5m square in low-ceilinged rooms and extremely warm.  We were herded all together at all times.  I was glad to get back outside.

Lunch at the cafe was expensive but special and wouldn't want to have missed it.

Tired from lots of walking but enjoyed the day.

Now chilling out.
